Daumier & Mount Rushmore
When looking at Daumier's sculptures that he created out of unbaked clay in order to draw from, I thought almost instantly about how they seemed very similar to Mount Rushmore. The characters that Daumier creates look as though they could very easily be presidential figures, or at least very high class. Both carvings are very similar, with little, but enough detail. I think another part of why I think the two artworks have a very similar style is because Daumier's color palette is very limited, just like that of the mountain side.
